Ross Montgomery has been making music since the age of 16, starting off with an exploratory couple years of electronic music. While other interests like cartoons and acting had pre-occupied Ross for most of his life, a sudden shift in interests brought music to the forefront.
While Ross was teaching himself how to play keyboard at a slow rate, compositions on the computer were constantly underway. The music was mostly electronic with sounds sampled from outside sources and manipulated into rythms and textures.
However, as the years passed it felt more necessary to incorporate the keyboard which was often neglected. While the earlier material was scarce in distribution, this website will offer many new adventures from Ross' most recent work which is no longer purely electronic, but with keyboards and other instruments fitting into a more organic whole. Ross is interested in the no man's land between styles, how two opposed things can co-exist together.
